Abstract
The genus Euthycaelus Simon 1889 is diagnosed based on the examination of type-material and additional material from Venezuela and Colombia.
The genus now includes: Euthycaelus colonicus Simon 1889, E. norae sp. nov., E. amandae sp. nov.; Euthycaelus steini Simon 1889 is transferred to Psalistops comb. nov.
The genus Schismatothele Karsch 1879 is considered a senior synonym of Hemiercus Simon 1903.
Schismatothele includes S. lineata Karsch 1879, S. inflata (Simon 1889) comb. nov., S. modesta (Simon 1889) comb. nov, and S. benedettii Panzera et al. 2011.
Hemiercus proximus Mello- Leitão 1923, from Cubatão, São Paulo, Brazil, is transferred to Acanthoscurria proxima (Mello-Leitão 1923) comb. nov.
Hemiercus kastoni Caporiacco 1955 is considered a species inquirenda pending the examination of the type material.
Die Gattung Euthycaelus Simon, 1889 wurde neu untersucht. Dadurch ergeben sich folgende Änderungen:
Die Synonymisierung von Eythycaelus mit Holothele KARSCH, 1879 durch RAVEN, 1985a wird aufgehoben. Die Gattung Euthycaelus umfaßt folgende Arten.
Euthycaelus colonicus Simon 1889 (bisher Holothele colonica)
E. norae sp. nov.,
E. amandae sp. nov.
Euthycaelus steini Simon 1889 (bisher Holothele steini) wird zu Psalistops comb. nov. transferiert (Barychelidae)
Die Gattung Schismatothele ist ein älteres Synonym von Hemiercus und umfaßt nun folgende Arten:
S. lineata Karsch 1879,
S. inflata (Simon 1889) comb. nov., (bisher Hemiercus inflatus)
S. modesta (Simon 1889) comb. nov, (bisher Hemiercus modestus)
S. benedettii Panzera et al. 2011
Hemiercus cervinus (Simon, 1889) ist ein Synonym von E. colonicus.
Weiterhin wird Hemiercus proximus Mello-Leitão, 1923 zu Acanthoscurria proxima (Mello-Leitão 1923) transferiert und Hemiercus kastoni Caporiacco, 1955 wird zur "species inquirenda" (Art mit zweifelhafter Identität, bei der weitere Untersuchungen notwendig sind).
(Anmerkung: Bei den Tieren, welche durch uns bisher als Hemiercus sp. ex VENEZUELA bezeichnet wurden handelt es sich um Euthycaelus sp. (siehe HIER ).
Die Zuordnung der im Handel befindlichen "Hemiercus inflatus" zur Gattung Schismatothele ist fraglich. Somit sollte auch der Artstatus überprüft werden.)
